Rev. Kenneth Francart Have you ever asked the question, “If God knew everything from the beginning and he knew that Satan would turn against Him and drag humanity into the squalor of sin with him, why did He create Satan?” No? Then I’m sorry for bringing a question to your mind that may confound and confuse you. However there are a few folks around who have asked the question and have either rejected the question or settled on an “I don’t know” answer. Neither of those choices is adequate for you or those who have considered the question, so I am going to try to answer it for you. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Please read those two verses again. No! I mean read, digest, study, and understand those two verses from the book of John chapter three. Don’t gloss over them because they are so familiar to you. That is where we miss the beauty of our Lord’s words John 11:25 Jesus said unto her (Martha), I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? I ask you the same question, do you believe this? God loves every human being on this earth. He loves everything on this earth. After each day’s work, in Genesis chapter one, as He created and caressingly molded this earth for man’s inhabitance, He said, “It is good.” God wanted only the best for all of His creation. However, as He walked and talked with Lucifer the son of the morning, He knew that in the heart of Lucifer were wicked thoughts, read: Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. From the very first thoughts of God when He said in Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. He knew that the defeat of Satan lay in the people who trusted Him, His Son, and the Holy Spirit. He knew that, love of God, love of Jesus, trust in the Holy Spirit would be the undoing of Satan and his evil ways. There had to be a defeat of Lucifer’s ugly thoughts to demonstrate to all of God’s creation that God is GOD and there will be non other to take His place. God is omnipotent and will forever be so. He is from everlasting to everlasting and everywhere in between, God. Why did He bother with us? with Satan? with the whole creation thing? Because God is Love and as such wants to love. We are his creation and He loves us. I Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 19 We love him, because he first loved us. It is that love that overcomes Satan. You see, Satan doesn’t care for you, he hates you and hates God. He knows he has lost the war. He is no dummy, he can read the bible just like you and I can. He already knows his fate. He and his followers are headed for the lake of fire and he is after as many as he can get to follow him rather than allow God the pleasure of His creation. Love is, as God is, perfected in Jesus Our Lord. |

Jesus is standing at the door to your heart
all the time. He is knocking to come in and love you and guide you. He is
offering you the gift of everlasting life, but you must hear Him and open
the door to Him as He will not kick it in.
(Rev. 3:20) A gift is just outside your
heart's door at this time. Will you receive this gift? Will you open the
door to Jesus and let him flood your soul with His love? If so, read the
following paragraph as your prayer.

Father, I know that I have sinned and I turn from my sinful ways and ask you to come into my heart and cleanse me. I know that I cannot do this on my own and I need your help. Fill my soul, Lord, and make me whole. I want your will for my life to be preeminent. Help me to grow in your way. I pray this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen
