My life extends from birth to death
    On this I can depend.
And after I heave my last breath,
    My being, God does extend.

Into eternity whether good or bad
    I'll go - want to, or not.
At least I'll not go unprepared,
    Because I've been well taught.

There is a life comes after death
    That's different than before.
That life reflects the choices made
    Throughout this life - and more.

Our first step into eternity shows
    Our wise or foolish decision,
Our faith in self or faith in gold
    Will lead us to perdition.

If we chose to follow Jesus,
    God's gift to all of man,
Our first step will be great for us.
    We'll be where life began.

Eternity is and each man a part,
    A child born into it.
His hours spent determining
    Where he'd prefer to fit.

Hell is waiting to claim it's share
    Of those which think they know.
Heaven's my home of this I'm sure
    Because Jesus declared it so.
