To Him whose life spans all the time,
And time that still must be.
I clasp my hands, and close my eyes,
I bow on bended knee.
I plunge beneath His gracious love,
I cannot understand,
How God could place a worth on me
And keep me in His hand.
God is!
My, what those words embrace!
They fairly shout, "Because He is,
All else remains in place."
He whose life has spanned all of time
And time before time was;
Guides the destiny of my soul,
And lifts me to His love.
