| Someone once asked me if we actually have as much fun as it appears we do
on TV and the answer is YES! Most people at Club Dance, both visitors and regulars, are a
bunch of really nice people. Many of us are not experts at dancing we just have fun
dancing. It's not easy dancing in a crowd as the TV studio is much smaller than it appears
on TV and the temperature under the studio lights become quite HOT and tapings at the
studio often run from 3 to 8 hours in length depending on how many shows are taped during
a session! Many of the Club Dance regulars drive up to a full days drive just to
attend a taping. For me I live in Memphis which is on the opposite end of the state
of Tennessee and it is about a 6 1/2 hour drive to Knoxville. Other regulars drive only a
few hours while some live nearby. Visitors to the show drive or fly in from various parts
of the country and many groups come by the bus load! Did you know most of the outfits that Phil Campbell wore on the show came from Stages West in Pigeon Forge, TN? Stages West now has a WEB site located at:
